I need some implants. Have been told I lost all my bone and am not a candidate. I have read about the "Biopatch" that can grow damaged or bone lost. The article was written in 2014. Do you use this method to non-candidates to generate bone lost and later get the tooth implants needed? is there HOPE?

Major problem flying from LAX to London. I fell asleep before take-off, and therefore ate absolutely nothing. About six hours into the 10 hour flight (I was fast asleep in first class), I woke up choking severely. The head and screw from Tooth #18 fell out and had become lodged in my throat. AGAIN IT WAS NOT THE RESULT OF MY EATING OR DRINKING ANYTHING-I was fast asleep. With a flight attendant's help, I was able to cough it up. It was the head and the screw completely intact (not part of each). I have it in my pocket.

If this key and essential part of a tooth implant simply "fell out" while I am asleep, was would happen after a crown is put on it? Death?

I am in a great deal of pain, but can do nothing about it here in London as I need to catch the next flight in about 40 minutes. Please call Dr.McConnell's office as early as possible in your morning and see what you can do. I think he has an emergency number that can be reached through his office.

Please read the entire message (above) to him and invite him to call me immediately. Pain relief is necessary. Tylanol / advid are not at all effective.

What a mess. If necessary, I will ask for a referral to someone more experienced in dental implants as long as the entire amount paid to McConnell is reimbursed and can be applied to a replacement oral surgeon specializing in dental implants.
